Go back tomorrow! She’ll get used to it. I have an almost 1 year old. And she cried the first 3x at the gym daycare for a few minutes. Now she’s there actually playing with the toys and kids!! She doesn’t cry anymore at drop off!

idk why they didn't call you to tell you that? don't feel bad, you didn't know! but if that were my baby I would absolutely want to know if they were upset the whole time

I would do 30 mins tomorrow and see how it goes! It takes time for them to build a new teacher relationship

okayyyy but my daughter will sob and scream the entire time and they always call me saying she’s crying so ofc i run to go grab her 🥲🥲🥲 i stopped taking her bc i hate knowing that she’s so sad, and also paying for the kid care to only get 15 minute workouts in 😅

I know hearing "it gets easier" is relative but seriously the more she goes the easier it will be!!

Please don't feel bad!! It's good for your child to know you are taking care of yourself! My son loves "going to see the gym guys" aka his friends he made 😭😭😭while I go work out, the little reunions are my favs

Maybe a routine? I know my babies loooveee a routine! And it’s so hard dropping your kiddos off with a “stranger”! I get mom guilt for sure

As a mom of 2 and a former daycare director of a licensed facility. ALL kids will cry at first and then they will stop. It is a change in routine and completely normal! I promise you she will be ok! Continue to go and remember you have to take care of yourself too 💕 you are a great mom for worrying but keep going to the gym and soon she will be asking to go to kid care 🥰

My baby is 14 months old and started at daycare at 3 months. He still gets a little upset when we drop him off but he will play a few mins after! I think she will get used to it!!

Go back tomorrow! Consistency for you and her is best. Coming from another mama who’s been there, you’ve got this!

As someone in childcare we get so many moms that are overly worried about their kids and I get it, but you just have to drop them off and let them be. Most of the time they have a policy of if they cry for a certain amount of time they will call so that just means she did good enough to not have to call you. Once she gets used to it and more comfortable with the workers it will be a lot better for her.

As someone who used to work in childcare she just has to get used to it & will prob adjust soon! I would just mention if she cries for __ amount of time you’d prefer if they page you

Keep going!! My daughter took over a month for me not to get a call 15-20 minutes into my workout to pick her up. Now she loves it! Grabs her snack waves and says bye 🩷

Keep going! My kids are the same way and when I dropped them off at daycare, the first 1-2 weeks were the hardest. Now my oldest can’t wait to go and my youngest is still getting used to it but loves it after 5 minutes of me leaving

KEEP GOING, she’s gonna be unsure at first. She’s gonna cry when you leave and pick her up but it will get easier. She will get used to it and eventually she will love going to play with her friends ❤️you deserve a kid free work out, you’re not a bad mom for utilizing gym daycare

as a daycare teacher - consistency is key!! part time kiddos ALWAYS have a harder and longer adjustment period than full time kiddos. i would definitely recommend taking her again tomorrow!

as a nanny, who has worked with babies, go again tomorrow!! i’ve noticed that when they can see the parent they get a bit more upset but once they get distracted they are so so happy!! i know it’s hard as a parent but i promise at least they should try to make her so happy!

My 10 month old (never watched by anyone but family too) cried the first week or so and they would call me to pick her up. Now she gets so excited to go and claps when we walk in!! Just took a bit to warm up!
