I rebuilt a UI a bunch of times because it kept failing and breaking. eventually I deleted it and started fresh..the lesson is delete it and start fresh don't build on top of a build

I almost tanked my 3 biggest accounts by not understanding that Claude's verification is "lazy at best" and "outright deceptive" at its worst. I told claude to do stuff... It said it did it. so i thought it was done. I couldnt figure it out for a whole month lol. I was just overloading the LLM with too much. it couldnt remember all the processes. I ended up switching to Codex and made a traditional deterministic live app that stores all of my advanced processes and requires each agent to fulfill its entire process by using the task management system for its incoming and outgoing data. cut my AI processing time down to maybe 10% of what it used to be. and my mistakes are much less. now I just gotta figure out a new process a single time and its saved forever... No chance of AI skipping steps when they are plugged into a deterministic program that throws up a blocking alarm that shows both me and the agent exactly what failed and when, and the agent cant move on until its done right lol. understanding that AI is irrepairably predictive was a very difficult and expensive lesson. this was my hardest lesson but also the most valuable thing I learned... A great engineer shouldnt fight against the tools... A great engineer will build a system that allows AI to be lightweight and focused on the task, while operations, evidence. context, etc are all stored in deterministic programs that the agent is plugged in to.
