I have both bpd and autism- it’s very much a struggle. I showed all 9 symptoms for bpd and my doctor did diagnose me with autism and bpd at the same time. Could this mean something?

I got wrongly diagnosed with autism and theyve now removed it and gave me bpd. It goes both directions.

....could someone with BPD be misdiagnosed as Autistic, though? Has an ADHD Diagnosis as well. We're at a total loss. Can any or all of those exists along NPD as well???

I was diagnosed with quiet BPD years ago and stopped DBT because of some complex life changes (medical in nature) a few years back. I think it would be helpful if I got back into it, but I've been starting to wonder lately if I might have some form of ASD. If I do, I'm not worried it would say something about my morality or value. It would just be helpful to understand my brain better. I know I've been downplaying my significant trauma from four years ago, so the hypervigilance I've been dealing with lately makes it even more confusing. I'm not sure where to start now, but I plan to "stay curious about it," as I think I've heard you suggest at some point.

Yes! I went to a psychologist for 6 months to try to get a diagnosis for BPD but I have autism and ADHD. She said, after 6 months of working with me, that she couldn’t say with complete certainty if I had BPD or if it was AuDHD. They’re so similar and show up in almost the exact same way.
