@airportpatricia: Your suitcase wheels rolled through an airport bathroom this morning, and tonight that same suitcase is laying flat on your bed while you unpack it. Twenty years around airports, and this is the one habit I genuinely cannot unsee. Think about the full path those wheels took today, the bathroom tile, the terminal floor, the taxi trunk, the sidewalk outside arrivals, and then straight up onto the comforter you're about to sleep under tonight. Almost everybody does it without a second thought. The bag unpacks on the floor or a luggage rack from now on, never on the bed, and if it had a rough trip those wheels get one quick wipe before they come anywhere near where you sleep. Send this to three people who just got home from a trip and you know put the bag on the bed, they need a gentle wake-up call. #viral #travel #airline #flights #airport

I never put my suitcase on the bed!!

user6229518286425 :

Don’t put it on your bed in your own home! My husband and daughter have trouble understanding my anger when they do this. Maybe they’ll listen to you.

Sam the Siamese :

Shoes, too

pennysmith1009 :

ewwwww you are SO right!!! I won't put down my purse! never thought about it.

pureenergy20 :

I would never use a public bathroom with my suitcase

Missy :

And once home I wash the outside off and clean the wheels because when I go to pack the next trip, the suitcase will be on my living room floor

Marianna Rebelo :

Spot on! The suitcase either gets carried to the bedroom or laid on the floor, gloves go on and the wheels get wiped. If the bag is light enough, it's carried to the bedroom, placed on a beach towel that's only used for this purpose on the bed. Wheels get cleaned. Suitcase unpacked. My back is happy and the towel is thrown in the laundry.

Cat mom :

I like you

jordanpoole.provz :

Toni :

I’m kind of a sanitizer and I never thought of this one. Now I’m so grossed out

Dr. Pearl :

Never!!!

K de :

I’m on a trip right now…I just looked at the extra bed in my hotel room and my suitcase is on the bed, but the wheels are about two inches over the edge not touching the comforter! 👍 I think I just naturally don’t let them touch the bed! (…And my suitcase cover doesn’t touch the bed either—but now I think I will wash it when I get home!😳)

Tugwife(Kim) :

Yesss

Lily B :

I don’t lay my suitcase in my bed. I have a special table for the suitcase when I’m in the hotel I put it in the table, not in the bed.👍

MutnChops💚 :

Yet we are all alive lol 😂

lindathrasher1 :

Agreed

user9513783503558 :

Marilyndishes 🇨🇦 :

I do this!!! I wipe the wheels of my suitcases with a Lysol wipe before they come into the house!

jad875 :

Think of what people brought to that bed you're about to sleep in and think about how often bedding and sheets are not washed in hotels.
