Serving God is one of the most beautiful things. But if we’re being honest— sometimes, it gets heavy. Not because you stopped loving God. Not because you suddenly lost passion. But because you are human. And humans get tired. Maybe lately, you’ve been serving while carrying battles nobody knows about. Family problems. Academic pressure. Financial struggles. Misunderstandings. Silent heartbreak. Emotional exhaustion. Mental battles. And despite all that— you still show up. You attend. You serve. You smile. You lead. You encourage others. You pray for people. You pour into others. But deep inside— you feel tired. Really tired. And maybe, there are moments you quietly ask God: “Lord, can I still do this?” “Lord, I’m tired.” “Lord, I feel so drained.” “Lord, I want to serve You— but everything feels heavy.” And maybe you feel guilty too. Because part of you thinks: “A servant of God should be strong.” “I shouldn’t feel this tired.” “I shouldn’t feel this weak.” But hear this carefully— Feeling tired does not mean you love God less. Being exhausted does not mean you are failing Him. Even servants who deeply love God can become weary. Even leaders need strength. Even those who pour into others need to be poured into too. God sees what people don’t. He sees every sacrifice. Every hidden tear. Every time you served while hurting. Every worship offered through pain. Every prayer you prayed while crying. Every time you chose obedience despite exhaustion. Nothing goes unseen by Him. And maybe, this is your reminder: God never asked you to carry ministry and your burdens by yourself. You were never meant to sustain yourself alone. You need Him too. Not just as the God you serve— but as the God who sustains you. So if you’re tired— come back to His presence. Not to perform. Not to pretend. Just come as you are. Come tired. Come drained. Come weak. Come overwhelmed. And tell Him honestly: “Lord, I need You.” Because burnt-out servants do not need condemnation. They need rest. Grace. Healing. And fresh strength from God. So if lately you’ve been thinking about giving up— rest first before making decisions. A tired soul can mistake exhaustion for loss of calling. Maybe you’re not losing your calling. Maybe… you’re just tired. And tired flames can burn again in the hands of God. #JesusChrist #estherlywritess #christian #fyppppppppppppppppppppppp
