as a white woman, its hard for us to understand and feels unfair at first, because we never had to fear getting killed at a sleepover by our white girl friends, simply for being the only black woman🙏 Thats why black sisters need safespaces, even if not all white women mean harm to them, they can never know. Just how we need women only spaces, but men dont need men only spaces. Hope this cleared the difference up.

as a blk woman, yes there are yt women I don't like and also blk women I don't like..but mind you, color, sexual orientation, religion, etc. has NOTHING to do with it. I enjoy being around anyone that has a positive outlook and great attitude.

Sundown towns LITERALLY STILL exist, a convicted felon and war criminal is president, a white athlete was transphobic to a former First Lady (on the lawn of the White House), 14 yo child Cyrus was gunned down his attacker went free, Karmelo was attacked got 35 years for defending himself, over 6,000 black women have been unemployed thanks to this presidency, a toddler was redrum over box of pampers his mother bought, Kamala has been accosted at several stops on her book tour even though she no longer holds public office (by wyts and trump supporters). Tell me again how you think safe spaces for black women are unnecessary and racist? Also, I would like to remind you black people can be racist in this country because we have no systems of power to weaponize our prejudices.

As a Mexican, I’ve mostly grown up with black girls had so many best friends that were black. SUCH beautiful women and really do have good hearts. But Omg. So racist. One literally stopped being my friend cause I liked white men

You will never understand. We are constantly the only or one of the few black people at work, school, whatever. We always have to make sure we make others feel comfortable around us since the majority can just cling to each other and disregard us. You will never understand what it feels like to always be on guard and aware of your loneliness because your privileged to be surrounded by people that look like you. Safe spaces like this give us a release
