@michaelamushelelo: My fellow Namibians, today I gave notice to the Namibian Police Force regarding our Peaceful Protest for the Removal of the Speed Humps that have been Illegal Installed on the National Highway. We have issued him with an Ultimatum: we hereby give you until Friday, 19 June 2026, to completely remove these hazardous physical structures and restore the road surface to its normal, unobstructed condition. Notice of Impending Protest and Highway Shutdown: Should he fail or refuse to comply with this demand by the stated deadline, we will be left with no other option but to exercise our Constitutional Rights under Article 21(1)(d) of the Namibian Constitution. A massive, peaceful public protest will take place on Saturday, 20 June 2026, from 07h00 until 19h00. Please be explicitly informed that if the speed humps are not removed by the 19th of June, the protesting citizens will actively, lawfully, and completely Shut Down the B1 Western Bypass for the entire 12-hour duration of the protest on the 20th of June. Take further notice that the protesting public expects and demands that you, the Honorable Minister, come to receive our Petition in Person at the B1 Western Bypass on the day of the protest. Given the gravity of the safety hazard your ministry has created, the public will not accept you delegating any proxy, administrative official, or representative to receive this petition on your behalf.
