had this anime not HEAVILY implied this was a power fantasy and let it be a slice of life with an OP Mc I woulda enjoyed it more. but the fact that halfway through, the MC turned into a background character made me sorta hate it.

I really liked this anime not cuz of the MC being OP, but the whole story basically plays out like the background characters reacting to crazy stories, and how the background world truly reacts to OP MC

the anime setup was great but especially by how he acted during both that and the fight with that fire dude was very out of character, unnecessarily quirky and childish compared to how the anime protrayed him in any other scenario
