You talking about a porcupine made me think of a drive through safari my family went through once! Was a ton of fun. Our car got rammed by a buffalo 🤣 after we got to hold some baby critters. I remember a hedgehog and we held a baby capybara!!! It suckled our fingers 🥰

there actually might be fossils because the majority of Utah, including the great salt lake, used to be a giant lake (Lake Bonneville) so there are actually lots of trilobites everywhere

Antelope island is one of our favorite family memories…. Of running from flies. Huge, loud murmurations of them, barreling toward our campsite. My kids are adults now, and sometimes will see a fly and say “It had begun”.
