@fionamoneydiary: Nobody teaches you this stuff. Save this list for when you’re ready to take control of your finances ✌️💸 1. I stopped pretending everything was fine. I finally looked at the numbers instead of avoiding them. It was uncomfortable, but it was the turning point. 2. I started tracking where my money was actually going. Not to judge myself. Just to understand what was happening. 3. I built savings pots for EVERYTHING 4. I stopped trying to budget perfectly. I needed a system I could stick to as a busy mum, and made sure I some fun money aside each month so I wasn't miserable 😅 5. I ditched Klarna for good. 6. I stopped telling myself I’d sort it out “next month”. Things only started changing when I made changes this month. 7. I realised money is more about behaviour than maths. Learning why I was spending made a bigger difference. 8. I stopped comparing my finances to everyone else’s. I focused on our family, our goals and what we could realistically afford. There wasn’t a quick fix. Just lots of small decisions that gradually added up. ❤️
