@padmalakshmi: Felt so good to be in LA and reunite with some of our chefs and producers from @americasculinarycupCBS!! We are so proud of this show, it feels surreal that the season has already finished. We had a wonderful Academy FYC event at the DGA– thank you for hosting us! And it was wonderful to hear how the chefs felt seeing themselves on TV, and even better watching the faces of academy members getting to taste the food that Michael, Wylie and I enjoyed all season. It was also really moving to hear the feedback from my industry peers. They noticed the details we worked so hard on and that felt really good. Living in New York, I don’t partake often in industry events. So this felt very special. Also, quite a few of my Top Chef family and crew came out to support me and it felt great to all be in the same room. A full circle moment. Thank you to all the academy members who came out, I’m very privileged and honored to be a part of the television academy and do work that I love. I hope you guys loved it too.
