This was my 49yo sister’s experience. She had significant memory lapses. I took her to the neurologist. They ‘watched it’ for 3-4y. Did some testing but not for Alz until after I wrote a letter begging them (4 years in) and handed it to the receptionist. They finally did a PET scan and my sister was dx with early onset Alz.

I had the same thing happen with my leg. I was in pain since a child but everyone said I was doing it for attention and to get out of school. fast forward to about 18 I was screaming in pain and finally convinced my mom to take me to the er and they found bone tumors (fibrous dysplasia not malignant) and my first words to my mom was "I told you so" lol 😂😭

Oh boy.. I sure hope my situation isn’t that because neuro psych said I have mild cognitive impairment and I’m fine otherwise.. I beg to differ and scared to know any more about my brain..🥲

I needed you. You are definitely my spirit sister. I am going through it Sister holy shit. I do all the same things and call people out. I am on my third neurologist and Headache, specialist after a brain tumor and an infection gone wrong. I call them out.

i just saw neuro psych and was well below where i should be for my age and bc i was below on one but close enough to normal he said i was fine 😐 i have left my husband at stores bc i didn’t know why i was in the parking lot - i’ve cried in parking lots bc i don’t know where i am etc it’s getting worse by the day … he said it was my depression 😐 i see psych and am pretty stable on meds - im also a chronic pain patient i get gaslit all the time😩😭
