I miss it every day. I am not ever going to regret nothing I always feel that I could have done better than I did. But it was the only way I knew how to. I just hope that they appreciate all the effort and time that I gave them. Motherhood is not for the faint of heart ♥

I’m a new empty nester and this last first year all I have done is regret not giving it my everything. My whole soul. I would get overwhelmed and overstimulated and just checked out sometimes. Have a glass of wine,etc.. So much torturous regret😭 I’m so happy your mom said this to you and you get it 😌

I 100% agree with your mom! I was a stay at home mom too and I loved every second! They are out of the house now and I need therapy! Prepare for that, I did not! ❤️

This was so beautifully said! I just had my first baby 11 months ago and am 8 months pregnant currently terrified of how i will handle everything that already feels so overwhelming with just one . Don’t get me wrong , i love being a mother i love my babies. Wouldn’t trade it for the world . But when i do start to feel overwhelmed, i come back and watch this 🤍

Both of my young adult children will be headed away from home for postgraduate school in about 3 1/2 weeks. It is the most gut wrenching feeling to know that the sweetest time of my life is gonna change. Hang on to this period of time with your young children, because it truly is the absolute best and most blessed time you’ll ever have.
