phlebotomist of 6 years here. veins can blow even for experienced phlebs. don't think you're necessarily the problem if you did what u think is right.

Idk how patient care would phlebotomist would be able to do, can they ask on which arm they’re comfortable with and if they prefer a smaller needle? I applied for a phlebotomy program, but I still don’t have an answer just yet

LMFAOO i feel so bad for any of the people who have drawn my blood because im terrified of needles to the point of hysteric crying because of fragile veins and i always say “do you PROMISE you wont mess up my vein?” and they look at me like 😬
