@peterbaskins: He’s in good hands now!! Basically what the rehabber told me is that yes he is an adolescent crow but for his size he should be flying. She believes he has an injury to his wing based on the video of him hopping around. As far as a time goes she says it just depends on how severe the injury is. She will be watching him for the next few days and if he can heal by himself we will take him to the same spot I found him and release him there. If it’s a more severe injury they’ll take some x-rays of his wings. If it’s broken at a joint they won’t release him because he won’t be able to fly. If that happens we’ll take him to a sanctuary in Dallas and he can live his years in peace there.
