🔥 The corporate altar carries the power of agreement. Individual intercession carries weight before God, yet Scripture also reveals the strength of gathered prayer. When Peter was held in prison, the Church did not scatter into fear or leave his burden with him alone. “Constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church” Acts 12:5. Heaven answered that agreement with deliverance, and the chains fell from his hands. Corporate intercession is the people of God bringing one burden before the Lord with one heart, one focus, and one cry. There is strength released when believers stand together under the will of God. Scripture says, “Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight” Leviticus 26:8. Jesus also said, “If two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven” Matthew 18:19. Prayer becomes weighty when the altar is united, when voices are gathered around the same burden, and when every heart is submitted to the same Lord. The Church must recover the corporate altar. Families need it, ministries need it, cities need it, and nations need it. Some battles remain scattered because the burden has stayed with individuals instead of being carried by a praying body. When intercessors gather in agreement, leaders can be preserved, doors can open for the Gospel, and strongholds can be confronted before God.
