U can get a refferal from your GP for a dexais scan in Ireland and if u r in no rush for your appointment in Affedia clinic it's actually free... Tip for you ladies either way most is covered by health insurance or costs around €200🥰

You should be very pleased with your results. I hate when people rush into taking medication. Diet and resistance exercise are the best, and the acceptance that our bodies are in decline as we age

Asked my gp for referral for dexa. said bec Im overweight I don't need it!! I insisted on referral and may go private for it. where did you go to have yours?

Just had a Dexa scan at 45. Below ribs and hips done. Found out to be bad news. Lower spine I have osteoarthritis (red zone) and hips I have osteopenia (yellow zone). I also have rheumatoid arthritis all over body. On meds now to try and help it 🤷♀️wish it could have been tested and helped earlier. Damage is done now sadly.

I’m 54 both parents have osteoporosis,I have osteoarthritis, can’t do hrt as have endometriosis, 4 mths off menopause,just diagnosed with v mild osteopenia.im doing all I can to get osteoblasts going

I had my day scan at 65 I have osteoporosis i have broken my ankle they should give dax scan earlier and you can do something about it I had fracture hip spine I am on injection everyday for two years

They don’t do such a thorough SEXA scan on the NHS in England or at least not I my experience they don’t do a whole body one and they don’t tell you about the fat around your organs

I had a dexa scan at 51. I was only told to get the calcium tablets.
