Autism and other disabilities are not because of the sin of an individual but rather the sinful world we live in. When resurrection happens, no one will have any disabilities.

Demonic oppression can manifest itself in many different ways including sickness and mental illnesses. But to say that every person who has a disability is demon possessed or being punished for their sin is flat out wrong. People are born with disabilities and we get sick because we live in an imperfect world and we ourselves are imperfect. Yes God created us in his image and it was never his intention for any of this to happen to us. When humanity fell thats when sin entered the world and we all inherited it along with imperfection. And yes Jesus showed us we can cast out demons with his authority in his name but again that doesnt mean that all disabilities are demons. We arent going to be perfect until after the resurrection

When I first got my son’s diagnosis I was devastated and really did ask myself if this was something my husband and I somehow brought upon our child…and in that instant I remembered John 9… The fact that there’s already an overwhelming amount of misinformation out there- Autism parents are desperately trying to find actual solutions to help our children and have to filter through so much crap and so many people selling courses and giving discount codes… and now you’re telling us our past SINS made our kids autistic???? *sigh* so infuriating!

Oh my Lord. God made us all differently and we can’t go on and say it’s all about sins. Cause She wears glasses and I have disability does that mean our parents were sinners. No it was God who made us and we have to learn how to overcome the disability or help our children if they have one. And I’m proud to say that I’ve learned to live with my disability and fight. So this lady needs to get help.

I was the deaf kid that got my parents and fam turned away from churches (grew up Protestant ) cuz of my disease from sin and my demonic hand movements (signing). That was 1976 but still grateful to my mom for having none of that.
