My distant, nonchalant cat randomly woke up one night at 3:30 am and decided to cuddle with me. She slept above my head, licked my hands, and lay on my stomach and legs. It honestly felt like a dream come true.i would even jokingly say either me or the cat would die soon, that’s how weird it was. A week later, she fell from the sixth floor. During the three days she was in the hospital, I was so anxious that I even came down with the flu and a chest infection. Now, two weeks after the accident, she’s doing much better and is back to being her usual nonchalant self.

Not to alarm you, but my dog who was very aware of personal space was clinging more than usual, started cleaning me and she wouldn’t leave my side, and I mean not even for a shower and she shriek cried when i left for work. This lasted for about a year and I just figured she was getting older (she was 15) and that she was getting weird in her old age and then one day she turned around and bit the absolute fuck out of me.. and where she bit, there was actual a tumor. I had melanoma, that had been growing for so long, you could physically feel the tumor. I had 11 biopsies, and 3 surgeries. Fully in remission, but yeah. My doctor said she saved my life.

yuuuup two of my cats (one not so friendly) started laying on my lap every time I sat down. within seconds of my butt hitting the seat. viciously purring. turns out, had adenomyosis and needed to have a hysterectomy. they've since stopped purring on my lap 💔

it happens with age, as they get older they get more affectionate. My pepper wasnt a cuddler until her last year and she never wanted to stop cuddling during it.

My little baby sweetheart Bella-she’s two years old in August, she’s started sleeping on my chest, and upper body instead of just my legs, and purring-even when she’s angry. Don’t worry-she’s perfectly healthy & so am I. 🙂🥹 so sometimes they bond with you

My cat started laying above my head for no reason…a week later I had my first seizure. I have epilepsy. He can sense them somehow. If he lays above my head, I know I’m going to have a seizure.

i came home from work, my dad said, this damn cat has been under my feet all day. 15mins later, he had an Aorta Aneurysm and passed.

No joke my cat who is a classic a hole started snuggling me and purring specifically on my chest. I ended up having lungs full of nodules and ended up down a rabbit hole. Labeled as a medical mystery. 14 doctors later I have a very rare disease. She knew before anyone else. Go make a doc appt boo.
