@humanebroward: That face 🥺 There’s so much sadness in her eyes 💔 Sweet 5-year-old Mary is going through so much right now. She was sadly given up by her family when their landlord would not permit her to stay, and now she is also dealing with a skin condition that may be due to allergies and possibly the stress of everything she has been through 😔 What this loving girl needs now is a new family that will give her all the TLC she deserves 🙏❤️‍🩹 According to her former owner, Mary is good with people and loves spending time outdoors on adventures. She also enjoys cuddling and soaking up affection from her favorite humans ❤️ Her experience with children and cats is unknown. Mary can be selective with other dogs, so a dog meet is required for any potential canine siblings. Since arriving at the shelter, Mary has become a favorite among staff and volunteers. She is friendly, affectionate, enjoys being petted, comes when called, and always seems to have a wagging tail ❤️ Mary is an active girl who enjoys toys, treats, and being part of whatever is happening around her. She does have chronic skin allergies that can cause itchiness and irritation, but she has already received an anti-itch injection to help her feel more comfortable. She may need occasional allergy care in the future, but with a loving indoor home and simple vet support, this sweet girl can thrive. Mary is ready to leave shelter life behind and start her next chapter with a family to call her own 🙏 Thanks to the Florida Panthers’ @bennysbuddies9 program, her adoption fee is covered so she can focus on what really matters: finding her forever home.
