the biggest advice i have is prep food for whoever will be feeding your dogs snd do extra . i preped for for pur friend who watched our fogs while we were at the hospital h extra for the first couple weeks. also taking care of the dogs was my boyfriend job after we got home so it was easier for him to feed cause it was prepped. i also recommend meal prepping for you& your husband it makes cooking when u get home so much easier

Freezer meals prepped, snack basket near bed or sitting area. With my boys (we had 2 under 2) having a basket in the living room with diapers, wipes, etc so they were close and I didn't have to go to the rooms. Stocking the bathroom at easy reach places with pads, underwear, peri bottle etc made it easier. i had c-sections so bending and stretching sucked booty. Our youngest was a NICU baby so when going to the hospital I didn't think it would be harder and I would need more. So when we were home and prepping and going back and forth I made sure I had breast pumps in different rooms, extra things between the bedrooms and living room so that I could not stress and control what I could. We also brought home baby blankets, clothes etc for our dog to sniff and lounge with. She was the one who helped reaffirm something was wrong. So I always say dogs know so watch for ques.

while nesting i rearranged our bedroom 3 times just for my boyfriend to rearrange it differently while I was at the hospital
