I lived in condos behind the church where her family went and I would frequently see her mom just going on about her life the church would hold visuals and everything like that but her mom wouldn't show up unless the cameras were there

Having been raised in a holler in southeastern Kentucky (Harlan) it is feasible that she wondered off. We learned how to navigate that terrain from a young age and felt safe to explore. There are also lots of wild animals; bears, large cats, etc. So anything is possible.

It seems like we never hear about the teenage boy who was swimming with the mom and summer. That was the original story. It was the three of them and then they went home to plant flowers with the grandma.

This happened just 10 days before I give birth to my son. At our first newborn appointment with our pediatrician, her missing poster was hanging up in the lobby. We live just 30 minutes from where this happened. I think about her often. 😭
