The thing is though even when she pulled him to talk away from SOL her first reaction was “why you cheesin so hard”….. maybe she was playin but she sounded deadass… that al ready was setting the tone for how the convo was gonna go. You can tell just by how she reacted then that she wasn’t “okay” with him talking to her.

But that’s not how that happened. The day Sol came in, he told her I’m attracted to her, but I’m not going to approach her. But if she pulls me, I will explore it. Then she started crying, which made him feel bad because she liked him…and then he reassured her he’s happy in their connection. The only thing that changed is he decided to pull her to talk. But, to be upset about that is kinda ridiculous imo.

Honestly she is making me side with a man on this one. Like everyone keeps saying that he wants to explore when he never said that!!! Like Trinity said, a man’s going to do whatever he wants to. She just wants him to reassure her and when he is expressing that he never did anything that would make her break her trust so why is she getting mad at him. Tbh I think they just have different attitudes and approaches to life. Aniya needs someone more serious and reassuring, KC needs someone more playful and perhaps a bit less sensitive, not to say it’s a bad thing

i hear what you are saying, but all it highlights is an incompatibility. KC has shown that he is a person who doesn't take risks and assesses situations before making a move in almost everything he does. (he hasn't even left his hometown before!) this is just his personality! as is being a goofball. she wants the cautious, measured, class clown to be someone different and berate him about it instead of saying "This doesn't match me, I'm moving on"

I’m glad someone said it because I felt crazy. Aniya is valid for being upset she asked KC if he wanted to explore Soul and he said no. If he feels trapped, that’s on him. You can’t give the whole “Black queens forever, snow bunnies never” speech and then want to explore the light skinned biracial girl. His actions don’t match his words. Aniya would be way less hurt if he just told the truth. KC is way too aware of the cameras and knows America is about to call him out. He put himself in this situation.

Also, I’m sure that whole situation feels like a slap in the face to Aniya. You can’t give an entire speech about how dark-skinned Black women get the short end of the stick (which is true), talk about Black women this and Black women that, and then the second a light skinned, racially ambiguous girl walks in, you want to explore. Then on top of that, his boys are telling her Soul looks like his ex. I’d be pissed too. KC is his own worst enemy because nobody made him say all that.

she basically said tonight that she can TELL. she can TELL he isn’t feeling as sure as he said he is and everybody (including america) is ignoring exactly how that plays out for dark skinned black women in real life. if he switches up ppl will proclaim that she should’ve seen it coming OR it’s the kind of relationship she deserves/has left available to her. I had hoped for her to play these last 2 eps a lil smarter though
