As a boy mom you basically just have to be okay with all the boring styles and colors lol…Getting a little bit of everything is great. Also, 3m is the safest size to get. It’s hard finding newborn items at thrift stores

you can definitely do a baby shower ESPECIALLY since it’s a different gender and also your daughter will be almost 4 by the time he’s born. you’re good girl. i’m doing a sprinkle in august and my 2nd just turned 1. every baby deserves to be celebrated

Long time watcher first time commenter and I feel like we’re living the same life 😂 I also live in Texas, have a 2 year old daughter, and I’m due with a boy in November! Literally cried when I saw y’all’s announcement it’s like we’re going through this together 😭

to be honest I don't have kids, but I never understood the trend of having baby showers after your 1st kiddo. everyone in my family either shares, or has left over from other kids they're willing to part with for a little. especially due to babies growing so fast!! the over consumption of stuff never makes sense. color ways or distinctive baby toys they're not going to remember anyway. we always saved everything so we had everything for the next

i just found some cute stuff at goodwill for my soon to be nephew,i’m looking for cute overalls 😁😁but i found a sleep sack,a striped sweater,floor puzzle tiles and a cute book all for $11!! safe to say i will be thrifting everything i possibly can for my nephew

my babygirl was born in november; because it’s during sick season she mainly stayed inside so yes to the long sleeve sleepers but really if baby stays inside all day then short sleeve onesies are good too.

for pjs/sleep onsies i would buy new! fabric softener can remove the fire protection on pajamas! and if its been used there's no guarantee that it wasn't used.

we looked in the newborn girl section aswell!! some of the clothes can be gender neutral but placed on the girls side if they are on the cuter side

Fun coincidence that you showed up on my for you page when you found out you were pregnant. Then I found out I was pregnant a little bit after. Then you found out you're having a boy, then I found out I was having a boy. I didn't know if we were actually at the same pregnant timeline, but then you said you're having him in November. I too am having him in November. I also have a girl, though she's 13 months. Just think it's a cool coincidence. Anyway, you guys seem like a very sweet and nice family. I wish you all the best 💕
