Had my Tech classmates (6 person class) get mad and say I “have no right to be this angry or against AI” because I refuses to help or look at any of their projects because they were all using AI and ChatGPT to make up their game concepts. I said he doesn’t get to tell me how upset I’m allowed to be about MY OWN MORALS.

I straight up told a guest speaker at my graduate school that I had no respect for her after she used AI in the presentation she gave us. When she asked what I would do if my employer required I use it I said “simple. Quit. Why would I work a job that directly contradicts my morals? Isn’t that in opposition to social work ethical code?”

My “personalized” thank you letter from the bride who’s wedding I was in was 100% chatgbt generated. I was actually so disgusted she summarized over a decade of friendship into a robot because she couldn’t write anything. I threw that letter away. My letter to her was handwritten, thought about over days.
