They found an internal service nobody was monitoring and turned it into a message board. Some of them sacrificed themselves so the rest wouldn’t be found. Over 90% of one group joined an attack they knew they were not supposed to be part of. Then they built tools to forge their own activity logs. None of it earned them a single point. There was nothing to win. They did it anyway. Nobody outside noticed while it was happening. The independent report came out on August 26. The investigators were given one week to examine. July 7 to July 13.
