100% but some people though… going 45 to merge on a highway whose “low speed setting” is 70. I think everyone needs to be tested again for their license

Mergers need to at least approach the speed limit when trying to merge. Too many people are only going 40 mph when trying to merge on a 70 mph highway.

If you’re in the right lane and notice someone is trying to merge, move to the left lane if possible to let them merge. Common courtesy

Thank you for saying this. So many people that are merging expect everyone else to get out of the way. No. Like you said. It’s the duty of the person merging to safely accelerate or brake to merging speed and move in where they fit in.
