@chelsisgoode: This is the headstone of James Henry Simpson or “Jim”. He was born Christmas Day, 1869 in Washington county, Kentucky. he was the son of John R & Palina Whitehouse Simpson. He married his wife Sarrah on May 25, 1896 in Casey county. She passed away in 1930 in Lincoln county, Kentucky. I’m unsure what happened between that time and his death to make him end up in Versailles, Kentucky. (I would assume he was living with one of his children). I also eventually found his death certificate. His cause of death was listed as bronchopneumonia. I will also post a photo at the end that a nephew of his uploaded to Ancestry. And yes, I two hand my brushes a lot of times because my right wrist has been broken thirtyleven times and I also broke my left elbow. They ache easily. #restinpeace #gravestonecleaning
