i feel like since stiles didn't possess any powers, he felt inadequate from the others. Even when he essentially was the brain of the group he still viewed himself as the helpless side hustle (even a liability at times) rather than a savior. 😞

He thought of himself as the burden, the screw up, the liability. To him he was never being heroic, just trying to keep him and his friends alive. It makes for such an endearing character honestly, since he never got the “true alpha” treatment of being told that he’s great all the time, but was still the most heroic person in the room. That’s just who stiles is

I think it would've been so interesting if the show leaned more into how much of a leader Stiles was. I love Scott, but he wouldn't have gotten nearly as far as he did with the pack without Stiles

No stiles didn’t want powers we knew that when he declined the bite from Peter and he could’ve asked Scott plenty of times to give him the bite. He was smart and he knew that he knew that’s all he needed that’s why he joined the fbi
