Dry rice, beans, eggs, potatoes, and milk, as well as canned meat and veggies. All macros accounted for. Cheap and goes a long way.

Cost of 12 MREs is $70 to $130. Do the simple arithmetic. You would raise the cost of SNAP 4 times plus the cost of delivery.

MRE's aren't for normal consumption. They are very high in salt and calories for soldiers on long marches and when food is scarce. It's to keep them alive during harsh conditions. They could make civilian MRE's that are balanced. 🤔
