Apparently some of them r filled with mold and other structural problems which is why they haven’t been refurbished yet. The bay had to pay for their own maintenance which is why the escalators were always broken

The bay closing is one of the saddest things ever!! It’s one of my earliest memories going to the mall with my mom, shopping in the bay, not even the mall but that area!! Watching her try on dresses on voting on them since I was little to being a teen!! It’s also the one place that carried fancy brands in store instead of having to order online!! 😭
