This piece was hand-tapped by members of the Mentawai Tribe, one of the world’s oldest Indigenous tattoo traditions. Every line was designed specifically for me, carrying symbolism tied to balance, protection, health, and connection to spirit. As an Indigenous woman, this experience meant so much more than a tattoo.
