@dr.adam.dell: To be fully seen, fully known, AND accepted is man's greatest desire. It can be crushing if, when you are known, you're rejected. So what does humankind do? They hide. They hide for fear of rejection. Due to this fear, it's only as trust is earned that being vulnerable can occur, and different parts of ourselves can be opened to another. It's like a fragile weaving that only becomes a strong and beautiful tapestry as different pieces of ourselves are allowed to be woven into another's life. It takes time and trust as well as humility and love to be known and to know another.
