MY PR BISTEC ENCEBOLLADO #fyp #puertoricanfood #bistecencebollado #whatsfordinner #dinner BISTEC ENCEBOLLADO 1 tsp adobo 1/2 tsp oregano complete 1/4 tsp salt 2 tbs sofrito 1 tbs sour orange Fresh garlic grated I use 4-5 cloves Drizzle of olive oil Sprinkle some sugar 1/2 c water let it disappear n repeat again 2 yellow of white onions cut into rings Final 1/2 c water 1/4 c vinegar Season steak Heat up about 2 tbsp of olive oil Sprinkle a spoon of sugar let it turn brown ur heat shouldn’t b blasting high medium Once sugar is broke start searing off ur meat in batches DO NOT OVERCROWD UR PAN u will steam it then n wont get the same effect Once all meat is seared put all back in n scrape up all that goodness that was left at the bottom from searing off the meat Raise heat to medium high Add 1/2 c of water cover let the water evaporate Once water is evaporated add another 1/2 c of water cover let it evaporate Once the second time of water evaporating is done lower heat to medium low Add 2 yellow onions or white cut into rings Let the onion get some color Add 1/2 c of water w 1/4 c of white vinegar u ca always start off little w 2 tbsp n work ur way up Cover n cook for 8 min on medium low
