I’ll clarify the Islamic dilemma because he didn’t word it well. The Quran affirms the Torah and gospel as true at the time of Muhammad. At the same time Muslims say our scripture is corrupted. So if our scripture is true then the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus is true so Islam is false, if our scripture is corrupted then the Quran affirms corrupted scripture meaning the Quran is false. Either way Islam is false.

The Bible we possess today teaches doctrines such as Jesus’ crucifixion, resurrection, divine sonship, and deity. 3. The Quran later denies or contradicts those doctrines (e.g., Surah 4:157 denies the crucifixion). 4. Therefore, Muslims seem to face a dilemma: * If the Bible was preserved, then the Quran contradicts a genuine revelation from God. * If the Bible was corrupted before Muhammad’s time, then the Quran’s positive statements about the Torah and Gospel become difficult to explain.

He didn’t go into depth but basically the Islamic dilemma is that the Quran says and no other Muslim can deny it cause then they’ll be lying to you and in front of their God, Allah. That the Quran confirms the injil and Torah. Meaning that what has been given to the Jews and Christian’s are the word of God.. so if it cornrows it then that means the bible is true. And that means Christianity is true and the true word of God the issue is that if the bible and Torah have been corrupted then that makes the Quran false because it says it right there that it confirms those two things.. that’s the Islamic dilemma. Now here’s the thing also.. if you ask a Muslim when was it corrected, before or after Mohammed’s time.. they will say before so that means the Quran is false because during that time it’s confirming the Torah and injil so how can the Quran confirm the Bible and yet have different teachings from both? Different stories different outcomes? A Muslim will runaway cause they don’t wanna question it and deny their God.. so regardless of it the Quran actually contradicts itself and proves that the bible is the true word of God..

The Islamic dilemma isn’t a dilemma at all because it’s referring to the writings before it that confirm it. Bible does not confirm the Quran. It mentions Torah, book of David which could be psalms, and the Injeel which is the gospel that Jesus preached.

u guys are misinterpreting it the quran actually says that the bible and torah were true at the time that jesus and moses were there actually guiding the people thats why we believe the bible has been corrupted because if u look at the old testament its very similar to the quran with all the laws and teachings but overtime (which is known) the bible was rewritten multiple times so thats why we believe in muhammads message (islam) because we believe that he was sent to reguide the people back to what the teachings of god is supposed to be so he was sent to fulfill the final message of god. he interpreted it completely wrong but neon doesnt know anything abt islam to give the right response

The Islamic Dilemma is the lowest tier argument, because it simply assumes that the Qur’an confirms the entirety of the Biblical scripture, and everything that is in it yet this is simply false. We know that the Qur’anic author doesn’t believe everything in the Bible is true because the author is doing conscious edits of Biblical material - i.e he is CORRECTING the incorrect information in the Bible as to what is the truth. Thus, the Qur’an does a general confirmation of the Bible, not an absolute confirmation, and this refutation is the very reason Christian apologetics like Dog Logic stopped running this low tier arg, hes scared of the Orthodox Muslim (Libyano) as well. Now, if we address the multiplicity of issues in the Bible, the countless mistakes, the fact that it is absolutely textually corrupted which their own scholars attest to, and the blunder of the theological idea of the Trinity, which is illogical whichever way you look at it. Islam will continue to prosper as the fastest growing religion, and theres a reason that Christianity has been decreasing in number since the 2000s, people are seeing past their lies.
