I read this song was inspired by something Clint Eastwood said about getting old. Very touching text… and I love you on the guitar.. every word gets an extra dimension with the simple notes of the guitar. You should do that more often at your concerts… a moment of deep reflection and a certain filtered quality! Thank you!

I love this song. I sang it for a friend’s father on his last birthday he was with us. He ran a successful family business for over 60 years. And the survivor of not 1 but 2 heart transplants. The kind of person that after a talk with him you always came away with something to think about or remember. ❤️
