I have been thinking at a crazy theory, Xaden and Violet killed the venin 600 years ago and now they are reborn. I think Xaden knows about their past life when he says he's loved Violet for longer than she thinks and Andarna waited for Violet for 600 years. What reason she had to wait 600 years? And now they are 50 years late?

Maybe my brain is broken but I can’t figure out how this correlates. So her egg was layed 50 years before something killed the venin, she wasn’t hatched while they were killed so what would she have to do with it.

If she was hatched abandoned, obviously something scared her kind away. Irids are still alive but nearly extinct, for what reason? They went to war with venin. Also why they no longer serve humans. My theory is that Irids can kill off the venin.
