The 4* criticism never made sense to me. The game gives more than enough to players for them to get whatever 5* they want, and not releasing any 4* just gives a free pull refund minimum every 10 pull if you have them e6, which is much more rewarding than just pulling 4* imo. For global passives, while a potential problem for the future, honestly has been handled really well. Doesn't feel like an issue at all. And as for the most important criticism, the length of the story. It seems that people forget that honkai star rail isn't an open world gacha game and heavily relies on the story in order for you to fall in love with the characters. It always has and always will be a visual-novel esque gacha. No one is forcing people to read the chapters in a day or two

The only bad thing about hsr is the hp inflation other than that it is good, and its still better then genshin even if we view it from the avg person view

this games powercreep isnt bad at all and powercreep IS necessary, if u could just build 1 character and clear everything forever then the game would get boring, plus its very f2p friendly. we dont need new 4 stars, we get enough free 5 stars. archer was free, he is t0. his weapon was free, his BIS support is free, next patch you can even e1 him for free

People complain a lot abt power creep when even if you have a powercreeped team bc you returned to the game or made bad decisions, the game lets you play the story in an easy mode so that you don’t get stuck behind a barrier and miss out on trailblaze quest jades (which are a lot, practically a 10 pull per patch)

I honestly don't understand about the Power Creep issue in the game, it doesn't even have a Player vs Player System so i don't get the hate on it. (P.S im NOT larping, i genuinely don't know why)

First i want to make this clear i am a f2p player and hsr is my go to gacha game just right amount of story right amount of exploration and you can max out and built up your chars fairly easily not quick but easily a very good experience for ppl who WORK for a living also dont have time to grind by mashing buttons and roam around to farm for freaking 4 hrs and i don’t have to spend 500 to 1k dollars on each banner pulls for chars that get outdone after few months hsr is a very welcoming games for ppl who just want to play a good gacha game with a great story and a player game maker hsr side atleast so i like hsr over other gacha games just my opinion and just saying

I find that its mostly because of people over exaggerating power creep, and global passives are not thag big a deal. Like why not just play your own game instead of worrying about other people's accounts

3.X was my stopping point, the story made me fall asleep twice and im still stuck at 3.3 although im getting back into the game because of fate part 2.

tbf they could just keep the global passives and stuff but like fix the old units, fix them and make them viable, because the powercreep and liability is too much, like idk but limbus did it and I feel like Hoyo could do it as well
