Alys beach ruined 30A for everyone. 30A wasn’t meant for the 1% of the 1%. Alys beach brought in the multimillionaires that made everything else ridiculously expensive. Their influence trickled all the way down to Grayton beach and just turned it into something awful. Seaside was supposed to be the “nice” place and now seaside is dwarfed by this ugly monstrosity. I guess that’s what growth looks like, poor designs busting from every corner because you can’t buy taste.

I’m staying here rn and It’s so pretty but lowkey Santa Rosa beach is so much better we stayed there the last 2 summers and so much better experience than we have had here
