as someone who used to work at petsmart, if the beta cups look like that they haven't been cleaned for at least a week. It's supposed to be done twice a week which still doesn't feel like enough

As a Petsmart employee myself, THOSE CUPS SHOULD NOT HAVE ALGAE! It’s protocol to change their water frequently and scrub the cups.
