you're 100% right. Not only that but there is a serious issue in leftist tiktok with the way they gauge leftism. Remember, Christian Divyne got dogpiled by Madeline Pendleton and Mocha for stating that North Korea was in fact not democratic. So not only is there a purity politics issue, alot of these dogpilers are politically undesirable and horribly misinformed.

In the problem, I’m seeing especially in cancel culture a creator does something mildly questionable takes accountability and says sorry for it, but the entire Internet immediately just assumes that they were a bad person from the start and jumps to the worst conclusions yet popular Youtubers do way worse things that they should be in jail for and people hate on them for for like two days and then move on to the next thing y’all don’t want accountability y’all just want to hate.

Even when I talk about my journey of learning more over ten years for the purposes of encouraging others to learn more too, I get young trolls commenting hate bc “I should’ve just known” everything ten years ago. Ten years ago they weren’t even adults.
