Twin and Hazel were surrendered together, along with another dog, Maya (the one I’ve been posting a lot) Maya was recently transferred to Baldwin Park… but Twin and Hazel are still here at Carson for a few hours. They’re next to be euthanized. These two are just a year old and full transparency, they need major socialization… they’re very shy, and completely overwhelmed in the shelter environment. Loud noises scare them. New people scare them. Even going for walks is hard right now. But when they’re together you see a different side of them. They find comfort in each other. They feel safe. That’s why it would mean everything if they could be adopted together. They just need someone patient. Someone who understands that love, time, and consistency can completely change a dog like this. Twin (ID A8578976) is good with calm dogs, and the shelter recommends an adult only home with a peaceful environment. Hazel (A5758981 ) is a bit more fearful and would also do best in an adult only home with calm, gentle energy. 📍Carson Animal Shelter 216 W Victoria St, Gardena, CA Walk ins welcomed.
