I’m a mom of two who figured out dinner doesn’t have to be hard, so now I make the easiest ones I can and share them here, and this week the internet’s favorite cracker is doing the heavy lifting. Dumb Dinners, Episode 35: Cheez-It Chicken Caesar Bake What you’ll need: * 1.5 to 2 lbs thin-sliced chicken cutlets * 1/2 to 1 cup creamy Caesar dressing (depending on how creamy you’d like it), plus a little extra to drizzle * 1/2 tsp garlic powder * 1/2 tsp black pepper * 6 to 7 slices provolone, enough to cover the dish * 1/3 cup grated parmesan * about 1 cup Cheez-Its, crushed to rough pea-sized pieces * 1/2 lemon * 1 bag chopped romaine, to serve How to make it: * Heat the oven to 375 and lay the chicken in a 9x13 dish * Season with just garlic powder and pepper, no salt * Spread the Caesar over the chicken so every piece is coated * Cover the surface with overlapping provolone, then sprinkle the parmesan over everything * Bake 15 minutes, or 20 if your pieces are on the thicker side * Scatter the crushed Cheez-Its over the top and press them in * Bake another 8 to 12 minutes, until the chicken hits 165 and the top is golden * Rest 5 minutes, squeeze the lemon over the top, and optional but if you serve over chopped romaine with one more little Caesar drizzle it’s even more delish! #creatorsearchinsights #DinnerIdeas #easydinnerideas #lazydinner #easymeal
