But a wet Q-tip won’t collect anything. Your ears themselves have to be wet or moist on the inside like after a shower and then a dry Q-tip will absorb the wax and remove it; at least surface wax. I’m not understanding how a wet Q-tip in a dry ear even works.

I am not above putting the q-tip in my mouth before cleaning (never after 😂). Seriously though… ear picks (curettes) are life. They help with that perimenopausal ear itch, and no cotton.

Weirder confession: I use qtips to dry out my nose and sinuses daily. Nothing else works good enough because I live in Fl and my allergies are monumental

I wet one side and keep one side dry and use dry side after the wet one. And I also have to do it after shower too even if I’ve already done it in the morning as usual

A dry qtip is useless. Get one of those ear cleaners with a camera that syncs to your phone. So fun and satisfying. 😁
