At my job we have a phone for curbside orders and people always think im just on my phone and give me dirty looks when it goes off and I pick it up and look at it in front of them 😭😭😭

this happens lot in my job cause the thing we use to look up orders and everything does look like a phone and I had a customer got mad at me cause "I was using my phone" I was checking the price for a different customer

As a bartender, taking takeout orders is NOT my job description. Anything that takes me away from the bar, where I perform MY job, just slows down the entire beverage service in general. The HOST/ESS is for takeout orders.

someone came in 3 minutes before close saw me doing inventory on my phone then got mad because I was on my phone. like bruh I'm doing my job we're in 2026 we don't do paper inventory since 2020.
