@trial_trackers: The state rested its case on Day 6 of the George Pino trial after testimony from boating expert Lt. Paul Alber and forensic pathologist Dr. David Garavan. Jurors saw GPS evidence and heard testimony about navigation rules, the boat’s path, the channel marker, and whether Pino’s boat had autopilot. The medical examiner testified that Lucy Fernandez did not test positive for drugs or alcohol and that her death was ruled a drowning. 15 years is a slap in the face for the deceased girl’s family and the girl who is permanently unable to live her life in a normal manner. Both of these families need to sue for financial reparations.

The wife needs to be held accountable. 12 counts of underage drinking at the minimum, a family, lost their daughter, and let’s not forget about the family who has a beautiful daughter now forever changed, who will need continuous care of the rest of her life.
