We were just there and I had all that info thru my travel insurance app. They even had the info before my Delta app. lol Go load up on chips! They had the best flavors.

What I normally do is look up my flight number and look at the previous days that flight went out - and see if there’s at least a common gate letter it goes from (so like a,b,c etc. gates) and go near those

Oh, sir. I should have looked beforehand, so it's on me. I somehow got back into security after coming from US to Scotland at Heathrow, so I had a connecting flight--still dont know if that was right or not. I had my vr headset, controllers, laptop, tablet, etc. I had them tucked in my first time, so I had to pull all my shiznit out. It was awful, I was sweating and miserable. Then they offered me digestives on my flight as a snack and I thought it was something like Tums. I've learned since that first trip 😂

It’s no big deal and it’s actual very efficient. I usually have a coffee and wait until the board announces our gate.

The gate thing is annoying, but last I was there they block off the majority of the seating by the gate until boarding so there’s like 6-10 chairs for everyone available until boarding starts

Download the Heathrow App. They have immediate gate assignments. Terminal 3. Watch out for the moving Gate 24! Sometimes it is past gate 23 down the 1st wing and sometimes it’s after Gate 22 down at the end of the 2nd wing. The one with the Tower at the end.

I have been traveling g through Heathrow my whole life… the boarding gate assignment thing always stresses me out.. I have almost missed my flight twice.. once when I was a kid and my mom got the times confused .. gate assignment time and departure time… then I did the same a few years ago.. both times arrived just in time 😬

I prefer that process because the gates are small and once you check into a gate are you can’t leave.

Very true! I had to throw away my liquids that didn’t fit in the bag. I’m glad they got rid of it. Plus we had the same issue with our plane departure time. We literally rushed to the terminal to catch our flight.

Liquids they don’t do anymore but both times I went through recently they pulled my bag bc of my laptop but also didn’t tell me to pull my laptop out and also wouldn’t let me lol
