So I met Rob on VR chat on meta quest nearly 2 years ago... on 7-4-26 we go married... he's from Scotland and I'm From the USA... 2 days after we married he went back to the UK... it was 4 months our last visit... it will be 4 more before we see each other again... it is tough... but looking forward is all we have... Im so glad i keep bumping into videos where other people feel the same. Two weeks ago i saw my bf for a whole week and an extra day, it was the longest I’ve ever stayed, it was also the most happiest ive been. I know life with him is going to be beautiful but now that I’ve left. I’ve been so sad, im crying myself to sleep almost every night, i just simply crave his presence. I’m not going to see him again until November, staying for another week. And Ive genuinely just been miserable, after that visit its nothing but hard work for the both of us until we can move in together. I feel better knowing theres a good amount of a community for us ldrs girlies. I hope i dont go insane until November.

We're a year and month in with 11 more to go before the move. There's a visit in 2 weeks. We're drowning right now. Our schedules are near polar opposite and we are entrenched in a routine that makes it feel like nothing we do actually matters.

i've been in a long distance for 3 years now. what has helped the most is always having the next date planned, something to look forward to. also been using the mochi app recently and it really helps 🤍 you'll make it!!
