Bryce went about exploring respectfully to all parties and let’s not forget that zach spent all day putting seeds of doubt in his head. The first thing he told kayda was trinity is his number in their conversation. I don’t think he actually expected it to go anywhere but felt pressured to explore someone because zach kept telling him trinity didn’t like him and that they weren’t a good match. Plus, from episodes after that one, we can clearly see he listened to her wanting more affection and decided to be more affectionate cause they are always lovey dovey in the background. Zach is strategic cause why is he the only one who doesn’t think they are secured when everyone else in the villa says they are? Plus, looking at what he did to kc and Aniya’s couple, it’s safe to say he is looking for a way to eliminate any strong couple that might be a threat to him winning. zach is trying to ruin Bryce and Trinity bc he knows they could win the show and he wants to win the show, so he needs to break them up! so Zach was trying to get in Bryce's head. also production will make them explore if they get too comfortable, lots of ex islanders have said this. so I think the Bryce and kayda thing was a little of that as well.
