I have been working with companies to streamline process and documentation for over 20 years. I have been saying that you need to understand the job and process at each step before you even thinking about AI. I believe loose and incomplete process leads to agent drift and hallucinations. And ultimately why companies are struggling with AI implementation and adoption.

I absolutely dig your content. You really break down the complex well for us noobs who are trying to learn everything we can.

I’m interested in agents that are not about coding but about completing task sets the every day business worker might be involved with like an agent that is able to generate all the reports and put them together in a custom format very quickly in Excel so I don’t have to, so I can think about what the data that means instead of spending two hours generating reports and copying pasting things like that. I mean, yeah I get that Excel has copilot and I get that every different application has their own way high, but they don’t really work together.

i wanna do that but token and speed limits cost seam like they prevent me experiencing longer running tasks to improve on that

Can you please make a video where you explain in concrete terms how you instruct Codex differently compared to Claude code. I’m really good at getting results I want from Claude code (research, coding, analysis) – codex seems confused, sloppy, jumping into wrong conclusions, overlooking essential points, etc. I assume I just don’t understand how its logic is different from Claude code’s logic. I have max subscription for both (Codex after I thought I was going to use Code just for fable for the next week 😭)

Similarly, Claude Code’s new dynamic workflows (ultracode) can help you dream them up, and optimizing them

I’m building a product launch workflow for Amazon that’s fully AI-driven at each step. First, niche research and competitor analysis feed directly into AI briefs. Those briefs guide an AI designer (for images/videos/ads) and an AI copywriter (for listing content). The outputs combine into a launch-ready listing. An AI advertiser sets up the campaigns based on the created assets. Finally, weekly performance reporting measures results against the goals set during the initial research. My challenge is integrating these phases so outputs flow seamlessly between agents—I’m working toward a fully orchestrated system.

The process workflow of knowing nd understanding a process using flowcharts is basically the first skill of the critical thinking and as a professor once told me if you know it you can flow it (auditing class) once we have a bit more experience with the agents this should take off. The file organization etc comes naturally to those who think in processes. However we are currently working through your codex tutorial to hurry up and get up to speed! Things are moving fast and this is on the side of everything else that demands our time.

This is what I’ve been building. Only use I’ve found for agents is extracting data and restructuring it to suit our needs. Everything else gets programmed or shoved to a human for a decision

This reminds me of the Process Improvement or Process Change Improvement where we looked at each step of a process to see if it could be improved, this is doing the same but havingbAI assist in some of those steps to improve the workflow

I've been creating a workflow with cowork to consolidate all my personal data from old hard drives and cloud services to one organized structure that'll use as a foundation for my second brain and context for the LLMs working for me.

This reminds me of one of my college classes , Systems Analysis & Design. As a programmer, we needed to be understand the process of how a business functioned in order to write the software, that fit the business model. AI now accelerates this 100x, but the skill is still needed. You’re spot on!

Nate hi, long term follower! I use Claude but not really agentic yet, I’d love to use agents to help with my sales flow outreach for my business — I think lots of people would love this for their business obvs I’d close the deals but having them work in the background emailing using Gmail would be amazing ….

codex still not available in uk right now? i’ve set up 10 agents in co work and linked them to overnight scheduled tasks/notion. One of the 10 agents is tasked specifically with identifying workflow/automation prospects with our ecosystem. I’m a non tech but I think I kind of get it. The key for me is experimenting with using AI to work autonomously from me.
